Financial Disclaimer
Last updated 16 October 2026. This page governs every article, score, and briefing published on personalfinpro.com.
The content on personalfinpro.com is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as professional financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Nothing published here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and nothing here is tailored to your personal circumstances. Always do your own research, and consider speaking to a SEBI-registered investment adviser before acting on anything you read.
1. We are not a registered adviser
Personal Finance Pro is operated by xCerebraLabs. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst, or portfolio manager, and we are not registered with any equivalent regulator in another jurisdiction. We do not manage money, accept orders, hold client funds, or provide personalised advice of any kind.
No relationship of adviser and client, fiduciary and beneficiary, or broker and customer is created by your use of this site, by reading our articles, or by subscribing to anything we publish.
2. Educational content, not personalised advice
Our articles use worked examples with specific rupee figures to make concepts concrete. Those figures are illustrations, not prescriptions. They are chosen to demonstrate a method, and they deliberately ignore facts that would matter enormously in your own case — your income stability, dependants, existing debt, insurance cover, tax slab, risk tolerance, and time horizon among them.
A number that is sensible in an example may be badly wrong for you. Treat every example as a template for your own arithmetic, not as a target to copy.
3. Market Compass is a sentiment estimate, not a forecast
The Market Compass opening-bias score is an automated, rule-based-plus-AI estimate of likely NIFTY 50 opening sentiment, computed from publicly available market data before the 09:15 IST cash-market open. It describes what overnight and pre-open indicators are leaning toward. It does not predict the direction of the trading session, the closing level, or the price of any individual stock.
Markets routinely open in one direction and reverse. A POSITIVE reading followed by a down day is the system working as designed, not a malfunction — the score is about the open, and only the open.
4. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong
Market data is sourced from third-party feeds and public exchange and depository publications. It may be delayed, revised, temporarily unavailable, or occasionally incorrect. When a data source fails, the affected indicator is excluded from the score and labelled as unavailable rather than silently treated as zero — but we cannot warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of anything shown.
FII/FPI flow figures in particular are provisional numbers for an already-closed session, published by the depositories on their own schedule, and are frequently revised.
5. Past accuracy does not predict future accuracy
Where we publish a track record of how often the opening-bias call matched the actual open, that record is historical and observational. It is not a performance guarantee, not audited, and not a basis on which to size a position. A method that has been directionally right recently can be wrong tomorrow, and streaks in either direction are normal in a small sample.
6. Capital is at risk
Investing in equities, derivatives, mutual funds, and every other market instrument involves risk, including the permanent loss of the capital you invest. Leveraged instruments such as futures and options can lose more than the amount originally committed. Nothing on this site reduces those risks or should be read as suggesting they are small.
7. Taxes and regulation change
Tax rates, exemption limits, contribution caps, and regulatory rules referenced in our articles are correct to the best of our knowledge on the date each article was published or last updated, and India's rules change often — frequently at each Union Budget. Always confirm current figures against the primary source (the Income Tax Department, SEBI, RBI, or AMFI) or with a qualified tax professional before relying on them.
8. Third-party links and advertising
We link to third-party sites, including exchanges, regulators, and data providers, for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
This site displays advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Adverts are selected automatically, and their appearance on a page is not an endorsement, recommendation, or vetting of the advertiser, its products, or any financial service it promotes. How advertising cookies are used, and how to opt out, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Personal Finance Pro and xCerebraLabs accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything published on this site. Any decision you take after reading this site is your own.
10. Questions and corrections
If anything here is unclear, or you think we have published something inaccurate, please tell us via the contact page — corrections are welcome, and we would rather fix an error than defend it.
